There were a number of motivating factors (borderline high blood pressure, elevated cholesterol, snoring, upcoming 40th birthday) that triggered my interest in a program to lose weight and live a healthier life.
I decided on June 1 to accept the Extraordinary Health Challenge. I weighed 230 pounds and I hoped that I could get below 200 pounds; however, I had not weighed less than 200 pounds for 12 years.
By July 31 I had achieved my goal weight of 190 pounds and was astonished at the changes in my life! Now I don’t snore, I have more energy and I find that I don’t need as much sleep as I did before. I feel 10 years younger. I previously dealt with stress by eating and now I’ve conquered my challenges with eating. I am now able to eat healthy food on a regular basis and control the portions that I eat.
