 As an accomplished author, successful businessman and international speaker; Henry A. Penix is speaking into the hearts and lives of today's generation all around the world. He is a father of three and resides with his wife in Tulsa, OK. Mr. Penix completed his first European book and speaking tour in 2004 and has returned, doubling his engagements every year. What is your name and title? Mr. Henry A. Penix What does your company do? Create products and teach processes for financial success and balanced living – success in all areas of life. Tell us a little about your background: Always entrepreneurial minded. Grew a company from two employees to over 300, then retired financially independent before my 36th birthday. Father is a pastor, so I have a deep-rooted awareness of my own spirituality as well. What are 2 or 3 notable achievements you’d like to share? I received the SBA Entrepreneur of the Year Award, National Blue Chip Enterprise Initiative Award, awarded one of top 50 companies in my state, accolades from my Governor, accolades from the state and senate subcommittees and an honorary doctoral degree in leadership. How I got to where I am today? First, I give God the glory for all my achievements. I wish I could say that “I did it my way”, but I can’t – I did it His way. With that, I combined hard work, focus, determination and the support of my family and friends. Why I do what I do: I think about everything I wish I had known when I was a young adult and just starting out. Then I think of what a difference it would make in the lives of others to have the years of knowledge and experience that I’ve accumulated. So I guess giving back fuels my future and is the reason I do what I do! Best books I’ve read lately: An older book called “The Power of Focus.” I also enjoyed “The Making of a Blockbuster” – about the life of Wayne Huizinga. My Mentor/Coach: Paul J. Meyer. This is a guy who is known as the founder of the self-improvement industry with combined sales in excess of $2.5 billion dollars (more than all the rest combined!). I have immense respect for Paul because he uses ethical business strategies in all of his achievements and simultaneously succeeds in maintaining a well-balanced life and happy family. Words to live by or favorite quote: It’s not by might nor by power but by my Spirit says the Lord. What I do in my free time/hobbies: Workout, read, laugh, travel and anything that has to do with adventure. I also enjoy time spent with my family – my lovely wife and three children.
